Meet Our Coaches and Mentors
Here are our coaches and some of our mentors that have helped us. Special thanks for all that they do.
Mike
Coach
I am a supervisor of a digital forensics lab in my professional life. I believe in nurturing our children to explore opportunities where they can learn safely but take risks in their development. In order to provide this environment and give back to our community, I have been a First Tech Challenge (FTC) coach, First Lego League (FLL) mentor and BSA Assistant Cub Master/Assistant Scout Master. I am constantly amazed at what our children can accomplish in the right environment.
Arthur
Coach
I have been involved in the FIRST community for many years, and strongly believe innovation and critical thinking are important qualities for the young generation. The FIRST Program provides a safe-to-fail environment for children to learn, explore and innovate. I have been a First Lego League (FLL) mentor, and a First Tech Challenge (FTC) Coach. I’m always fascinated by the creative solutions that children come up with when they work to solve each season’s challenges. Besides FTC, I also volunteer in the local community as an Assistant Scoutmaster, and act as the Liaison for Asian Parent & Student Network of a local high school.
Seelig
Coach
Seelig Sinton is in his 4th year of coaching FTC. Seelig has a background in electrical engineering and currently works at a software company.

Pankaj
Mentor
I have a PhD in Health Sciences and Technology and an M.S. and B.S. in Electrical Engineering. I currently work at Meso Scale Discovery. where I lead business and technical teams. I have been part of FIRST for 7 years, coaching FLL for 4 years and this is my fourth year coaching FTC. I have a passion for teaching and mentoring and giving back to the community by leading Coaching workshops and helping to inspire the next set of leaders. I’m a firm believer that we need to encourage the next generation to be great communicators in addition to being great scientists and engineers. In addition to FIRST, I am a Boy Scout Leader and volunteer with our local Swim Team.
